Imagine your favourite part of your job as an ice cream flavour.
What would it be, and why?

The flavour fior di latte captures what I value most in my work. It’s disarmingly simple: wholly dependent on quality ingredients, it forsakes embellishment. Similarly, good design research creates clarity amid complexity, distilling meaningful insights from the overwhelming noise. The unassuming nature of both belies the care behind their creation.

What is something you are deeply curious about?

What happens in the space between humans and the designed world—that magical moment of encounter between person and object—is a question that continues to preoccupy me.

I’m fascinated by how visual and material culture mediates our encounters with the worlds we dwell in, evoking emotional and behavioural responses we’re not fully in control of. The images, artefacts, and spaces we create attempt to capture truth, but inevitably transform it. This waltz between what we create and how it shapes us is a source of wonder for me, and reminds me to stay humble, curious, and amenable.
