Wei Ying’s story

Wei Ying is drawn to the space where inner worlds meet outer systems. Her background in psychology shows up in the way she works: calm, observant, and methodical.

She’s led research and experience design across Aspire Lifestyles, HDB, MOH, Frasers Hospitality, and DBS, stitching together evidence, behaviour, and business needs until a direction becomes clear.

She moves easily between qualitative nuance and hard data.

Her happy place: dim lights, a good horror film, and the thrill of being spooked on purpose.

Favourite part of her job as an ice cream flavour

Hojicha. Calm, balanced, and quietly satisfying. It’s the same balance she chases in her work: simple, thoughtful choices that make experiences feel comforting, intuitive, and exactly what people need.

On what keeps her curious

What it means to be human. How people make sense of themselves, connect with others, and navigate the push-and-pull between their inner world and the one around them.
